Realme C53 was officially announced in May 2023 alongside Realme Nar20 N53, Realme 11 Pro +, Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11. Pre Orders began on 31 May 2023 and the devices were made available on May 31, 2023. It landed in Kenya in June 2023. The Realme C53 succeeds the Realme C33 as the top new Realme flagship. Realme C53 is available at City hub at Ksh.24,200 for the 128GB + 6GB RAM.
The Realme C53 is a budget-friendly smartphone that offers a large 6.74-inch HD+ and IPS LCD display with a smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate and with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It runs on the Unisoc Tiger T612 chipset with Mali-G57, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB storage, on Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13.
The phone has a dual-camera setup that consists of 50 MP main camera (f/1.8, PDAF) and a 0.3 MP depth sensor. It has a front camera of 8 MP for selfies. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and USB Type-C 2.0. The phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 33w fast charging.
